• 30% Off – Trade in any non-Mechman high-output aftermarket alternator
• OEM (stock) alternators and non-high-output units are not eligible

• This program is a one-time trade-in credit, not a coupon or ongoing discount
• Not stackable with any other promotions, B-stock, or sale items
• Limit one trade-in per new alternator purchased
  

3. How It Works

• Choose your new Mechman alternator at www.Mechman.com
• Add the applicable trade-in upgrade item to your cart:
  • Mechman Loyalty (35%) for Mechman alternators
  • High-Output Aftermarket (30%) for all others Tell us what you are sending us brand, model etc.
• Complete checkout at full price
• You’ll receive a return authorization email with shipping instructions

• Clearly Write your order number or invoice number on all sides of the box for smooth processing of your trade in.
• Once received and verified, your refund will be issued within 1–2 business days for the appropriate percentage of your original purchase
  

4. Timing & Return Requirements

• Trade-in must be received within 30 days of your new alternator shipment date
• Customer is responsible for shipping cost to Mechman
  

5. Trade-In Acceptance Criteria

• Must be a complete alternator (not disassembled or heavily damaged)
• No severe corrosion, fire damage, or evidence of tampering
• Mechman reserves the right to deny any trade-in that doesn’t meet minimum requirements. If it doesn't meet the requirements, the customer is responsible for return shipping of their alternator, or it will be disposed of within a week.
• Must be a high output after-market alternator

Q: Can I trade in more than one alternator?
A: Yes, but each trade-in must correspond to a new alternator purchase. One trade-in credit per new alternator.

Q: Can I combine this discount with other promos or B-stock purchases?
A: No. The trade-in discount cannot be combined with other promotions, discount codes, or B-stock inventory.

Q: What if my alternator doesn’t qualify after I ship it in?
A: If the trade-in does not meet requirements, we will contact you to return the alternator at your expense or recycle it at no charge.

Q: Can I apply the discount before I send my old alternator?
A: The full price is paid at checkout. Your discount is issued as a partial refund once your trade-in is received and verified.

Q: How do I know if my aftermarket alternator qualifies as high output?
A: Generally, any non-OEM alternator rated above 170 amps qualifies. If unsure, contact us with a picture or brand/model info.

Q: What if I miss the 30-day return window?
A: The refund offer is void if we do not receive your trade-in within 30 days. No exceptions.

Q: Is this only available in the U.S.?
A: Currently, this program is only available for U.S. customers.
