Flat-rate rebuild service... this is an in-house program for customers who want their original unit restored to specifications using new internal components.

What’s Included:

• Flat-rate price: $249
• 60-day limited warranty on internal components
• All internal parts replaced (bearings, brushes, rectifier, regulator, etc.)
• Pulley replaced only if necessary
• Original housing retained – no cosmetic work or refinishing included
• Self-exciting alternators will be converted to single-wire turn on utilizing a 12-volt source wire to activate the regulator. Once the rebuild has been completed, older single-wire self-exciting alternators that relied solely on the battery wire will not operate correctly without this secondary connection

How It Works:

1. Ship your alternator to Mechman (customer covers inbound shipping)
2. Our techs will perform a complete internal rebuild
3. Your original housing is reused, and the unit is returned to you once complete
