Dual Alternator Kit for 2013–2018 RAM 6.7L Cummins
The 6.7L Cummins already hauls — and many of these trucks left the factory with a dual-alternator provision just waiting to be used. Mechman's kit bolts a second alternator right into it.
Use the factory dual-alternator provision
RAM built these trucks with a provision for a second alternator — this kit bolts directly to it, so adding charging capacity is clean and straightforward. Increase your 6.7L Cummins charging capacity to support winches, inverters, auxiliary batteries, lighting, and audio without overworking a single unit.
The factory alternator stays in place and keeps running the truck's original systems while the added alternator carries your extra loads.
Three ways to build it
Already have an alternator? The bracket gets you mounted for $399. Want it complete? Choose a turnkey kit in a cast finish at $799 or a billet build at $899. All three fit the 2013–2018 6.7L Cummins.

Will it fit my 6.7L Cummins?
It's engineered for the 2013–2018 RAM 6.7L Cummins and bolts directly to the factory dual-alternator provision. Confirm your year at checkout.
Bracket only or complete kit?
Three options are offered: a bracket at $399 if you're supplying your own alternator, a complete cast kit at $799, and a complete billet kit at $899.
What's the difference between cast and billet?
Both are complete kits; the difference is the bracket construction and finish. Billet is the premium build. Pick based on budget and the look you want.
Does it keep the factory alternator?
Yes. It uses the factory dual-alternator provision to add a secondary alternator while the original unit stays in place.
Is the install straightforward?
Because it bolts to the factory provision, the install is clean. Follow the included instructions for proper spacer usage to ensure correct belt alignment.
Where is it made and is it warrantied?
Every Mechman alternator is built in Knoxville, Tennessee. Optional 1-year, 2-year, and lifetime internal-parts (brushes, bearings, rectifier, regulator) warranty terms are available at checkout.
