ChargeCommand IQ™ — Take Control of Your Charging System
Many late-model vehicles use LINbus or CANbus communication from the engine computer to control alternator charging voltage and amperage. While that strategy works fine for a factory alternator, it will limit charging performance when the vehicle is equipped with a high-output alternator or has increased electrical demand.
⚠ Check your plug before ordering: ChargeCommand IQ™ only fits single-terminal LIN bus regulators with a D-Shape or Honda™ Style connector. See Plug Compatibility below ↓
ChargeCommand IQ™ puts charging control back in your hands.
Designed for seamless integration with the factory engine computer, ChargeCommand IQ™ allows you to adjust the charging voltage set-point of the alternator, while removing factory amperage limitations that can prevent the alternator from delivering its full potential.
Installation is quick and straightforward. ChargeCommand IQ™ is plug-and-play, works with both OEM and Mechman alternators, and retains the vehicle's original charging-system interface. Factory battery warning lights and OE voltage gauges continue to operate normally, giving you improved charging control without sacrificing the functionality built into the vehicle.
