Built for maximum charging performance and durability, this 370-amp alternator is designed to support the most demanding electrical systems. Featuring oversized pure copper windings and heavy-duty diode rectifiers, it delivers exceptional reliability while powering high-draw accessories such as winches, lighting, air compressors, inverters, and large audio systems. It also serves as a premium replacement for a worn factory alternator. Producing approximately 180+ amps at idle, this large-case alternator excels during low-RPM operation like rock crawling and heavy winching. It utilizes the correct factory-style reverse rotation rotor for maximum cooling efficiency and a reverse-threaded shaft to keep the pulley securely fastened under extreme conditions.

For best performance, we recommend adding 0 AWG Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) charging cables between the alternator and battery. This alternator is equipped with a 1.75-inch pulley and requires a shorter serpentine belt. We recommend the Gates K060870HD FleetRunner® belt for maximum durability in harsh off-road environments, although a standard Gates K060870 belt may also be used.
