Note: This alternator is supplied with an 8-groove, 50mm pulley. If using a belt with fewer than 8 grooves, the belt must be aligned with the inward grooves closest to the alternator face. Because of the high power these units produce at idle, some smaller engines may require our 6-groove underdrive pulley for proper operation.

⚠️ Customer Responsibility: Customers must be running a battery bank of at least 100Ah. It is critical that the customer confirms the generic profile matches their battery requirements. Refer to the image below and your battery manufacturer’s specification sheet before installation. Mechman will not be responsible for issues caused by a mismatch. Adjustments can be made through the Wakespeed app if required.

We have also engineered the system such that you still have easy access to your power steering pump reservoir for fluid service. These kits come complete with alternator(s) and belt to take all the guess work out of the installation. Our highly detailed color instructions ensure a quick install, possible with standard hand tools. Mechman dual alternator kits include large case 6-phase elite series alternators, featuring massive twin rectifiers with 12 huge diodes for maximum durability in daily driven vehicles.

Note: This kit is intended for use with your factory alternator only in its original spot. The belt included has been appropriately sized for this.
