48-Volt Idle Max Alternator – AGM (B11480100-48V-AGM)
Optimized for AGM battery banks, this alternator is preprogrammed for simplified installation while still allowing customization. The GM Vortec-style frame provides easy fitment in multiple aftermarket bracket applications. Due to its slightly increased housing size, customers must confirm there is adequate clearance for installation before purchase.

This alternator shines in overland and RV builds where dependable AGM charging is needed at idle, in commercial/industrial equipment where electrical demands are constant, and in emergency backup systems that require charging confidence without revving the engine. Note: This alternator is supplied with an 8-groove, 50mm pulley. If using a belt with fewer than 8 grooves, the belt must be aligned with the inward grooves closest to the alternator face. Because of the high power these units produce at idle, some smaller engines may require our 6-groove underdrive pulley for proper operation.

⚠️ Customer Responsibility: Customers must be running a battery bank of at least 100Ah. It is critical that the customer confirms the generic profile matches their battery requirements. Refer to the image below and your battery manufacturer’s specification sheet before installation. Mechman will not be responsible for issues caused by a mismatch. Adjustments can be made through the Wakespeed app if required.
