Regulator / Plug upgrades

Do you currently have a lower voltage or OEM regulator (13.8-14.2 or an ECU voltage control regulator) in your Mechman Alternator but want higher voltage output? Do you need your alternator converted to externally regulated? We can help with the swap here. Please be aware that in NON-GM application alternators this 99% of the time will result in your battery warning light being on BUT you will be able to charge at your higher voltage just fine. If you are not OK with a battery light being on in NON-GM applications, please do not proceed as not reusing the OEM alternator wiring harness will cause this issue.

Please include a copy of your order with the alternator when you send to us.

Please be sure to pack the alternator tightly and securely as MechMan is not responsible for damages from shipping. We recommend using

the original packaging and double boxing for sufficient protection.

Kindly write the Order# on all six sides of the box so that we can easily identify your package when it arrives.
